Two Countries, Three Days

Combine the World Cup with one of nature's great spectacles. In three days you'll explore Iguazu Falls from both countries: the Argentine walkways to Devil's Throat, the full panorama from Brazil, a boat ride into the spray, a helicopter flight above the cascades and the Triple Frontier where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet. Then you fly on to Germany's next match city.

Day 1: Arrival at the Triple Frontier

After your flight and transfer, the trip begins where three countries meet.

From the Hito Tres Fronteras viewpoint and its obelisk, you look over the junction of the Iguazu and Paraná rivers to Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay in a single glance — one of the best-known views in South America.

At dusk, a cultural show takes place on the border while the rivers catch the last light. If you like, stay for dinner* at the riverside restaurant with a glass of Argentine wine.
*Dinner is not included in the package and is available at your own cost.

Today you explore the Argentine side of Iguazu National Park, where the trails take you closest to the water.

The Ecological Train glides through the rainforest in open carriages — keep your camera ready for toucans and coatis.
Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo): 14 cascades plunge together 80 metres into the gorge. At the end of the walkway, mist and noise surround you completely.
The Upper Circuit offers wide views over several falls at once, with Brazil across the river.
The Lower Circuit follows the foot of the falls — the best angles for close-up photos.

Afterwards, a boat carries you right up to the falling water. Getting soaked is guaranteed — and great fun.

In the evening, The Argentine Experience: cook asado and empanadas with the chefs, then taste premium Argentine wines with a sommelier.

The Brazilian side presents the falls as one enormous panorama.

Walk the Trilha das Cataratas, about a mile and a half along the canyon, for the classic full-width view of Devil's Throat.
Board a ten-minute helicopter flight and see the river bend, dozens of falls and the rainforest from above.
At Parque das Aves next to the national park, step into large aviaries among toucans, macaws, flamingos and hummingbirds.

In the late afternoon, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to the next host city, where the DFB-Frauen's campaign and your main package continue.
