Between matches, trade the chants for the roar of 275 waterfalls. In three days you'll see Iguazu from both sides of the border: the Argentine walkways that lead right to the edge, the Brazilian panorama that takes it all in at once, a boat trip into the spray, a helicopter flight over the rainforest and the Triple Frontier where three nations meet. Then it's on to the next city to cheer for Les Bleues.
At Hito Tres Fronteras, a small obelisk marks the confluence of the Iguazu and Paraná, with Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay each just a river's width away. It's the perfect spot for a souvenir photo with the tricolour.
At dusk, a cultural show takes place by the water as the sky turns gold over the rivers. If you'd like to linger, the nearby restaurant offers dinner* with Argentine wine and a river view — a relaxed first evening of your Iguazu escape.

- Board the open-air Ecological Train through the jungle and watch for toucans, coatis and bright butterflies along the way.
- Reach Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo), where fourteen falls plunge together into an 80-metre abyss — the mist and the thunder are unforgettable.
- Take the Upper Circuit for wide views across several cascades, with Brazil on the opposite bank.
- Descend to the Lower Circuit, which runs along the foot of the falls and offers the best photo angles of the day.
In the evening, The Argentine Experience opens its kitchen to you: prepare empanadas and asado with the chefs and taste fine local wines guided by a sommelier. Fun, interactive and delicious.
- Walk the Trilha das Cataratas, a scenic path of roughly two and a half kilometres along the canyon, ending with a full-width view of Devil's Throat.
- Lift off for a ten-minute helicopter ride and see the river bend, the dozens of cascades and the endless rainforest from above.
- Stop at Parque das Aves beside the national park and step into walk-through aviaries filled with toucans, macaws, flamingos and hummingbirds.
