Two Countries, Three Days

Add a world wonder to your football trip. Over three days you'll experience Iguazu Falls from Argentina and from Brazil: the walkways to Devil's Throat, the wide Brazilian panorama, a boat ride into the spray, a helicopter flight over the cascades and the Triple Frontier where three countries meet. Then you fly on to Denmark's next match city.

Day 1: Arrival at the Triple Frontier

Your flight and transfer bring you to a spot where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet.

At the Hito Tres Fronteras viewpoint, an obelisk overlooks the confluence of the Iguazu and Paraná rivers, with three countries in one frame — among the most photographed views in South America.

As the sun goes down, a cultural show is staged on the border while the rivers glow. You're welcome to stay for dinner* at the riverside restaurant with Argentine wine.
*Dinner is not included in the package and is available at your own cost.

The second day is spent in the Argentine part of Iguazu National Park, where the paths take you nearest to the water.

Ride the Ecological Train through the jungle in open wagons, watching for toucans, coatis and rare birds.
Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo): 14 cascades meet in one 80-metre drop. At the end of the walkway you stand in the spray and the roar.
The Upper Circuit offers sweeping views across many falls, with Brazil on the far bank.
The Lower Circuit runs along the base of the falls — perfect for close-up photos.

A boat then takes you right under the cascades — be ready to get drenched.

In the evening, The Argentine Experience lets you cook asado and empanadas with the chefs and taste premium local wines with a sommelier.

From the Brazilian bank, the waterfalls appear as one grand panorama.

The Trilha das Cataratas, roughly a mile and a half along the canyon, offers the classic full view of Devil's Throat.
A ten-minute helicopter flight reveals the curve of the river, dozens of falls and the rainforest in one sweep.
Parque das Aves, beside the national park, lets you walk among toucans, macaws, flamingos and hummingbirds in open aviaries.

Late in the afternoon, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to the next host city, where Denmark's campaign and your main package continue.
