All times are local London time; the grounds open at 10:00 a.m. Match-to-court assignments are published the evening before each day of play. Ticket prices are per person for one Debenture seat for the full day's programme on that court, in US dollars; they are indicative and confirmed at booking. Your travel planner will confirm the order of play as soon as it is released.

Centre Court, No.1 Court & Debenture Seats

Debenture tickets are the premium way to see Wimbledon. Each one is a reserved seat in the best part of the stadium — Rows A to N on Centre Court, Rows A to Q on No.1 Court — for that day's full programme. They are also the only Wimbledon tickets that can be transferred under the All England Club's rules, which is why every package we offer is built on them.

Your ticket also covers grounds admission, so you can watch unreserved play on No.3 Court, Court 12, Court 18 and the outside courts. Debenture holders enter through their own gate on Church Road and have access to the Debenture bars, restaurants and lounges for their court; food and drink are paid on site.

Centre Court hosts the semifinals and finals and has a retractable roof, so play continues whatever the weather. No.1 Court is the second show court, also roofed, with top seeds on its programme throughout the first week.

Before You Enquire

A few practical questions, answered

Are match tickets included in the packages?
Yes. Every package includes Wimbledon Debenture tickets for each match day in it — Centre Court for the semifinals and finals, and Centre Court or No.1 Court for earlier rounds. Debentures are the only Wimbledon tickets that can be transferred under the All England Club's rules, so your seats are secure.
Do the show courts have a roof — what happens if it rains?
Both Centre Court and No.1 Court have retractable roofs, so play on the show courts continues even if the weather turns. The outside courts don't have the same protection, which is one more reason our packages are built around show-court Debenture seats.
How do I get from my hotel to Wimbledon?
With a 5★ or 5★+ package, a private transfer takes you to the All England Club and back on every match day. With a 4★ package, the simplest route is the District line to Southfields, then a short walk, or a taxi of about 45–60 minutes from central London depending on traffic.
What's the weather like in London in late June and early July?
Expect mild to warm days, typically 15–24°C (59–75°F), with occasional showers. Bring sun protection, a light layer and an umbrella.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies and lost luggage. Your travel planner can point you toward providers if you'd like guidance.
What currency and plugs does the UK use?
The UK uses the pound sterling (£), and cards and contactless payments are accepted almost everywhere. Plugs are Type G at 230V, so most visitors from outside the UK will need an adapter.
What is a Debenture ticket?
A reserved seat in the best part of Centre Court (Rows A to N) or No.1 Court (Rows A to Q) for that day's full programme. It also covers grounds admission, entry through the Debenture holders' gate and access to the Debenture bars, restaurants and lounges for your court.
Should I choose Centre Court or No.1 Court?
Centre Court hosts the semifinals and finals and the biggest names throughout the fortnight. No.1 Court is the second show court, with top seeds on its programme in the first week and lower prices. Your travel planner will help you pick the court and days that fit your trip.
Do I need a visa or an ETA to visit the UK?
Requirements depend on your nationality. Most visitors from the US, Canada, Australia and the EU can visit for a short stay without a visa but need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), applied for online before travel. We recommend checking your requirements 8–10 weeks before you go.
Is there a dress code?
There's no formal dress code in the stands. Smart casual is the norm, especially in the Debenture lounges and restaurants.
Is tipping expected in the UK?
Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory. Many restaurants add a 10–12.5% service charge to the bill; if not, leaving around 10% for good service is common.

Our reviews

Bob and Linda Harrington

USA - French Open 2025

My wife and I had been talking about going to the French Open for years. Once we finally made the trip in 2025, we were real glad we didn’t try to put the whole thing together ourselves. World of Discoveries got us a hotel that was an easy walk to just about everything, and every transfer — airport, hotel, the matches — was already taken care of before we even got off the plane. No scrambling for taxis, no standing around wondering what the heck to do next. Beyond the tennis, they took us out to Champagne for a day of tastings at a couple of the smaller houses we never would’ve found on our own. And I finally got to do something I’d wanted to do since I was a kid — see Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. Big thanks for that one too. Every little detail was handled by folks who actually picked up the phone when we called. Made the whole trip a hell of a lot smoother.

USA - French Open 2022

As avid sports enthusiasts, particularly in tennis, my husband and I have eagerly awaited the opportunity to venture out again after years of staying home due to the COVID situation. We decided it was time to break free and fulfill our dream of visiting France to witness the thrilling Roland Garros tournament. While we typically prefer organizing our own travels, we recognized that exploring a vast country like France warranted the expertise of a travel agency. Our aim was to take a tour that encompassed attending the male semifinal and final matches, as well as visiting Normandy's Landing Beaches, the renowned wine regions of Champagne and Bordeaux, and ending up with a few relaxing days at the beach. After some initial hesitation, we entrusted World of Discoveries (Wofdi) with our travel plans, and it turned out to be a remarkable decision. Wofdi meticulously designed a comprehensive itinerary that not only fulfilled our desires but surpassed our expectations. The knowledgeable guides who accompanied us throughout the journey, the seamless transport arrangements, and the exceptional attention to detail demonstrated by the Wofdi team left us in awe. Looking back on our trip as we now bask in the delightful sunshine of Nice, we can confidently say that every aspect was flawlessly planned and executed. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for making our European summer vacation truly unforgettable.

I traveled to the Australian Open with WofDi and was thoroughly impressed with the organization of my tour. The team at WofDi are true professionals who know their business inside and out. Any question or issue I had was addressed swiftly, showcasing their commitment to excellent customer service. They ensured that aside from the tennis, everything else was taken care of, allowing me to focus solely on enjoying the event. I’m grateful for such a hassle-free experience and will definitely be traveling with WofDi again!
