Closing Ceremony
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has hosted the Summer Games twice before — in 1932 and 1984 — and in 2028 will become the first venue in history to host three Games.
The Opening Ceremony on July 14 will be split across two stadiums simultaneously. The Coliseum hosts the artistic and celebratory part — the Opening Celebration — while SoFi Stadium in Inglewood stages the formal elements, including, according to earlier plans, the Parade of Nations. The exact format is still being finalised by LA28. The Closing Ceremony on July 30 takes place exclusively at the Coliseum.
