Sydney
Sydney

The centrepiece of the Rugby 2027 World Cup and one of the great cities of the world. Sydney hosts both Semi-Finals and the Final at Stadium Australia — the three biggest matches of the tournament, all in one extraordinary city. Between matches, the harbour is yours: the Opera House, the Bridge, the coastal walks, the rooftop bars, the finest restaurants in the country. Sydney in November 2027 will be electric — and you'll be right in the middle of it.

Sydney Stadium Australia — capacity 83,500
Sydney Stadium Australia — capacity 83,500

The largest stadium in Australia and one of the great sporting arenas in the world. Built for the Sydney 2000 Summer Games, Stadium Australia has witnessed some of the most iconic moments in Australian sporting history. On 13 November 2027, 83,500 fans will fill its stands for the Rugby 2027 World Cup Final — the moment the new world champion is crowned.

Sydney Football Stadium — capacity 45,000
Sydney Football Stadium — capacity 45,000

A boutique venue by Sydney standards — but don't let the size fool you. The redeveloped Sydney Football Stadium is one of the most intimate and atmospheric major venues in the country, with steep stands that bring fans as close to the action as possible. An outstanding complement to Stadium Australia for pool matches and Round of 16 games in the tournament's showpiece city.

Brisbane
Brisbane

Queensland's capital brings warmth, energy and some of the tournament's most anticipated quarter-final action. The city around it more than delivers: the river precinct, the South Bank, world-class dining and a skyline that glows at golden hour. Add the Gold Coast just an hour to the south, and Brisbane becomes one of the most compelling stops on the Rugby 2027 World Cup map.

Brisbane Stadium (The Cauldron) — capacity ~50,000
Brisbane Stadium (The Cauldron) — capacity ~50,000

One of the most atmospheric venues in Australian sport. The Cauldron earns its nickname on big match nights — a tight, steep bowl that traps noise and intensity in equal measure. Quarter-final rugby here will be something to remember.

Melbourne
Melbourne

Australia's sporting capital and cultural heartland. Beyond the rugby, Melbourne rewards the curious: world-class galleries, a café culture that borders on religion, laneway restaurants with hatted chefs, and a nightlife scene that runs well past the final whistle.

Melbourne Docklands Stadium — capacity ~56,000
Melbourne Docklands Stadium — capacity ~56,000

A venue unlike any other in the tournament — a retractable roof, a city-centre location, and a reputation for creating one of the loudest atmospheres in Australian sport. Pool matches and Round of 16 action here will be played in an intensity that only Melbourne can generate.

Perth
Perth

The most remote major city on Earth — and one of the most rewarding. A stunning coastline, a food and wine scene that punches well above its weight, and a warmth that makes it genuinely hard to leave. Perth opens the Rugby 2027 World Cup on 1 October — and does so in style.

Perth Optus Stadium — capacity 60,000
Perth Optus Stadium — capacity 60,000

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. Set on the banks of the Swan River with the Perth skyline behind it, Optus Stadium is the perfect opening venue for the Rugby 2027 World Cup. The walk across the Matagarup Bridge before a big match is an experience in itself.

Adelaide
Adelaide

South Australia's festival city is one of the most underrated stops on the Rugby 2027 World Cup circuit. Beyond the ground, Adelaide offers some of Australia's finest wine, food and live culture. The Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale are just a short drive away.

Adelaide Oval — capacity ~54,000
Adelaide Oval — capacity ~54,000

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket and football grounds in the world, Adelaide Oval brings its unique character to the Rugby 2027 World Cup. Set in the heart of the city, surrounded by parklands and the River Torrens, with a heritage scoreboard at one end and a modern grandstand at the other — this is a venue that makes every match feel like an occasion.

Newcastle
Newcastle

A proud rugby heartland just 160 km north of Sydney, Newcastle makes its Rugby World Cup debut in 2027. The city has reinvented itself in recent years — a vibrant food and arts scene, beautiful beaches, and easy access to the Hunter Valley wine region make Newcastle one of the tournament's most pleasant surprises.

Newcastle Stadium — capacity ~33,000
Newcastle Stadium — capacity ~33,000

Compact, loud and passionate — Newcastle Stadium creates an atmosphere that many larger venues struggle to match. Its Rugby World Cup debut in 2027 will introduce one of Australia's most enthusiastic sporting cities to a global audience.

Townsville
Townsville

The most adventurous stop on the Rugby 2027 World Cup circuit. Tropical North Queensland, coral seas, and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef — Townsville is unlike any other host city in tournament history. Stay for the rugby. Stay longer for the reef.

Townsville North Queensland Stadium — capacity 25,000
Townsville North Queensland Stadium — capacity 25,000

Making its Rugby World Cup debut in 2027, North Queensland Stadium is the most intimate and tropical venue in the tournament. Matches here will be played in heat, colour and noise that no other host city can offer — an unforgettable experience for any rugby fan lucky enough to have a ticket.

Winter Games 2026

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with World of Discoveries. What impressed us most was the precision and execution. Every single detail was accounted for — transportation, schedules, tickets, restaurant reservations, and daily logistics. Every driver knew exactly where to be and when, which removed all stress and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience. Even more impressive was how they handled changes. With winter travel and Olympic events, things inevitably shift due to weather and scheduling adjustments, but their team stayed completely on top of everything. They proactively made accommodations and adjustments without us ever needing to worry. This is white-glove, concierge-level service at its best. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a seamless, high-end travel experience around major global events.

Winter Games 2026

We were initially nervous being that you are only on line and we are old. Our experience was great. Sophia was very patient in answering our questions and our concerns. The hotels could not have been better- safe, clean, great staff and very centrally located. Pick ups were exactly on time and Mike arranged an early pick up for women 's big air snow boarding so we got front row. Everything went smoothly the whole trip. Oh and the seats for the 2 speed skating events were great. Including transportation to and from those would have been a nice addition but not critical. We will look at using you again.

USA - Winter Games 2026

This group is absolutely fantastic! They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional, impatient with us. We built a 10 day itinerary from Florida to go to the Olympic Games, and they took care of lodging, milz, transportation, event tickets, and answered any questions we had regarding our itinerary“real time”— Not only would I recommend them again I would use them! The staff was very organized and professional. I only wish this group did not only focus on sporting events! So because of this incredible and once in a lifetime experience, I give this company a five star review and highly recommend!

World of Discoveries organised my whole trip to Euro 24. From opening game in Munich to final in Berlin. The whole team are very personable and can not thank them enough. I watched 8 games all over Germany and everything was organised for me including tickets and tours. Hotel selection was great and I had an amazing time. I highly recommend them and will be going to World cup with them in 2026

International Football Tournament 2024 Can’t recommend WORLD OF DISCOVERIES highly enough. My daughter and I joined them in Munich before travelling to Cologne, then Berlin. From the moment we arrived in Munich, it was the full 5-star experience. They took care of every aspect of the trip — from transport to tours and activities. Varya and Mike instantly made you feel welcome and included, like lifelong friends; their chemistry and enthusiasm really do make all the difference. They have built an amazing team around them who are totally committed to making your trip the very best it can be. I will definitely use them again in the future.

A football tour with so much more. I have just completed a great tour with World of Discoveries in Germany and Austria. The main aim of the trip was for my husband to watch Scotland play in a major international football tournament. However, this trip was about so much more than just the football. Of course, the WOFDI team organized great hotels and tickets for Bill to join the crazy Tartan Army and watch its team in Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart. But the highlights for me were visits to mad King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria; the James Bond Elements museum, perched 3000m high up in the Austrian Alps; a stay at the incredible Aqua Dome resort in the Austrian Tyrol; and a superb wine tasting evening with a great group of travelers at Schloss Lieser hotel on the Moselle River. What a trip, what an experience.

Great trip all round. I booked not knowing what I was going to get, a little sceptical and apprehensive due to never using these guys before. I could not have been more wrong — the service has been great and the tour has also been great. Mike the tour guide and the girls in the office are 5 star. I even had a disaster and left my passports in the hotel safe in one city, and Mike and the team could not do enough to help me get them back. Really appreciate your professionalism and kindness. Will see you at the next international football event?
