Build Your Own French Open 2027 Trip

The French Open runs for fifteen days in Paris, and no two visitors want the same fifteen. Some arrive for the opening Sunday and spend their days moving between courts. Others wait for the semifinals and finals on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Tell us which kind of trip you want, along with your dates, your pace and the lodging you prefer, and we plan everything else around you.

Your travel specialist builds a private itinerary: first-class lodging in Paris, private transportation, a ticket concierge service for the sessions you choose, and days away from the courts in Champagne, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux or any other part of France you have always wanted to see. You usually receive a day-by-day plan within 24 hours, and we adjust it until it suits you.

Over 400 Matches in Fifteen Days
Over 400 Matches in Fifteen Days
The main draw runs from Sunday 23 May to Sunday 6 June 2027, with qualifying in the week before. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles add up to more than 400 main-draw matches, played on three show courts (Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne-Lenglen and Simonne-Mathieu) and the outside courts around them. Philippe-Chatrier and Suzanne-Lenglen have retractable roofs, so rain interrupts play less often. Day sessions begin at 11:00 AM Paris time, and each evening a single marquee match is played on Court Philippe-Chatrier, not before 8:15 PM. Tell us which rounds you want to see, and our ticket concierge service explains the options, follows the official sales windows and guides you through every step.
Lodging in Paris
Lodging in Paris
Paris fills quickly during the French Open, and the best-located hotels are often the first to go. Tell us what matters to you: a quiet boutique hotel, a spa, a suite with a view or an easy ride to the courts on match days. Your travel specialist proposes 4★, 5★ or 5★+ lodging in central Paris and takes care of the reservation. If you would also like a night or two in a Loire château or a Bordeaux wine estate, we build that in as well.
Sightseeing Beyond the Courts
Sightseeing Beyond the Courts
Tennis fills the days, and France fills the rest. Further down this page you will find ready-made ideas: three day trips from Paris (Champagne, the Loire Valley and Versailles) and a four-day wine route through Bordeaux. Use them as they are, combine them, or ask for something different, such as Normandy, the hill villages of Provence or a few days on the Riviera. Your travel specialist fits each one around your match days and arranges the guides and transportation.
Extend Your Trip Anywhere in Europe

Day 1: Paris to Bordeaux
Day 1: Paris to Bordeaux
This route is made for wine lovers. It takes you through Sauternes and the Médoc, two of Bordeaux's best-known wine regions. A high-speed train brings you from Paris to Bordeaux in just over two hours. Your guide meets you at the station, your luggage goes into the vehicle, and you set off on foot through the old town. Bordeaux is a UNESCO World Heritage city with a food scene to match its wine, and the starting point for hundreds of châteaux across the region.
Day 1: Bordeaux
Day 1: Bordeaux
Have lunch at one of Bordeaux's traditional brasseries, where entrecôte with a glass of red is the classic order, or at a table known for foie gras and canelé. Afterwards, walk to the Miroir d'Eau on Place de la Bourse, the largest reflecting pool in the world. A thin sheet of water mirrors the old stone façades, and the light is best around dusk, so we time your visit accordingly where possible.
Day 1: Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey
Day 1: Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey
From Bordeaux you continue to Sauternes and Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, a Relais & Châteaux hotel where you stay for two nights. The estate stands on the heights of the village of Bommes, in the heart of Sauternes, and is one of the great names classified in 1855. Its stone walls and archives record a long history of winemaking.
Day 1: Hôtel & Restaurant LALIQUE
Day 1: Hôtel & Restaurant LALIQUE
At Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Sauternes wine, Lalique crystal, fine cooking and hospitality come together under one roof. The hotel has only 13 rooms and suites, with views over the vineyards, and a quiet, private atmosphere that suits an evening after Paris.
Day 1: Dinner at Restaurant LALIQUE
Day 1: Dinner at Restaurant LALIQUE
Dinner is served at Restaurant LALIQUE, which holds two Michelin stars, with a complete menu by chef Jérôme Schilling. His cooking is built around regional producers and designed to suit the rich, complex wines of Sauternes, so each course is matched to bring out their aromas and textures.
Day 2: All-Terrain Scooter Ride Through Sauternes
Day 2: All-Terrain Scooter Ride Through Sauternes
Today begins outdoors. An all-terrain scooter takes you on an easy 2.5-hour ride through five Sauternes estates: Rayne-Vigneau, La Tour Blanche, Sigalas-Rabaud, Rabaud-Promis and Lafaurie-Peyraguey itself, with a tasting stop at one of the châteaux. The ride departs at 9:30 AM local time from the Au Fil du Ciron Adventure Park in Bommes and runs as a local guided tour. The park also offers biking, electric biking, hiking, canoeing and tree climbing if you prefer something else.
Day 2: Cellar Visit and Vertical Tasting
Day 2: Cellar Visit and Vertical Tasting
Today you step inside one of the great wines of Sauternes. You visit the cellars and the chapel of Lafaurie-Peyraguey and learn how the estate's terroir shapes its sweet wines. A vertical tasting follows, paired with savory dishes created by chef Jérôme Schilling, so you can taste how the same wine changes from one vintage to the next.
Day 3: Dune du Pilat
Day 3: Dune du Pilat
Today starts on the Atlantic coast. Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, rises more than 100 meters beside the Bay of Arcachon. Climb at your own pace, and from the top you look over the ocean, the bay and the Landes forest all at once.
Day 3: Bay of Arcachon Oysters
Day 3: Bay of Arcachon Oysters
Next you taste the famous oysters of the Bay of Arcachon at a local producer, served with a glass of white wine and a view over the water. The bay lies about an hour's drive from Bordeaux and feels like a small inland sea.
Day 3: The Médoc Route des Châteaux
Day 3: The Médoc Route des Châteaux
From the coast you drive north along the Route des Châteaux through the Médoc, one of the most celebrated red wine regions in the world. The vineyards stretch along the Gironde estuary, and the village of Bages makes a pleasant lunch stop, with its bistro, wine shop and small boutiques.
Day 3: Cordeillan-Bages, Pauillac
Day 3: Cordeillan-Bages, Pauillac
You spend the night at Cordeillan-Bages, a five-star château hotel set among vineyards in Pauillac. Château Lynch-Bages, one of the Médoc's best-known estates, is two minutes away by car, and the restored village of Bages is a short walk from the hotel. The evening is yours to unwind.
Day 4: Return to Paris or Continue Your Journey
Day 4: Return to Paris or Continue Your Journey
After breakfast, a transfer takes you to Bordeaux, and the high-speed train brings you back to Paris in just over two hours. If you would like to keep going, we can continue the route to Nantes and the Loire Valley (about four hours by road), to the Basque coast or anywhere else in France. Just ask your travel specialist.
Tour 1: Champagne
Tour 1: Champagne
Full-day excursion, about 11 hours. Champagne is where the world's benchmark sparkling wines are made, and the region is easy to love: vineyards on rolling slopes, medieval towns and cellars that hold the great Champagne houses. The Montagne de Reims, between Reims and Épernay, is home to many Grand Cru and Premier Cru producers, and you taste the difference between them.
Champagne: Reims
Champagne: Reims
In Reims you visit the cathedral, a high point of 13th-century Gothic art, where most of the kings of France were crowned. A knowledgeable guide then takes you into the old chalk cellars to explain how Champagne is harvested, blended and bottled, and of course you taste it. You travel in a small party with your guide.
Champagne: Verzenay and the Cellars
Champagne: Verzenay and the Cellars
In the afternoon you climb the Verzenay lighthouse for a panorama over the surrounding vineyards, then go behind the scenes at a Champagne cellar, Mumm or Pommery, to see how the wine is made.
Tour 2: Loire Valley Châteaux
Tour 2: Loire Valley Châteaux
Full-day excursion, about 13 hours. You travel in a chauffeured Mercedes minivan with up to six guests and visit three of the Loire Valley's great châteaux, with a tasting of the region's wines along the way.
Loire Valley: Chambord
Loire Valley: Chambord
Chambord was begun in 1519 for François I, a lover of the arts and a passionate hunter, and it remains the most recognizable château of the French Renaissance. Look for its double-helix staircase, built with two spirals so that two people can climb without ever meeting.
Loire Valley: Blois
Loire Valley: Blois
At Blois you have just under two hours of free time. The town was a royal residence during the Renaissance, and its château looks over a lively old town of narrow streets and historic buildings. Walk up to the château, browse the center or stop for lunch.
Loire Valley: Chenonceau
Loire Valley: Chenonceau
Chenonceau, known as the Ladies' Château, was shaped by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de' Medici. Its great gallery spans the River Cher, and the gardens the two women laid out are still part of the visit. Inside, the chapel, bedrooms and domed kitchens remain furnished, and a second tasting is available in the vaulted wine cellar.
Tour 3: Versailles
Tour 3: Versailles
Full-day excursion, about 8 hours. Versailles is the best place in France to understand the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King. You walk through the Hall of Mirrors and the Royal Apartments, then continue to Marie Antoinette's estate and the Trianon. Priority access is included.
Versailles: Gardens, Trianon and Fountains
Versailles: Gardens, Trianon and Fountains
Outside, the gardens were laid out by André Le Nôtre in the formal French style, and the Trianon estate is a calmer corner of the grounds. On selected days the fountains play to music written in the reign of Louis XIV, usually on weekends from April to October and on Tuesdays from mid-May to the end of June. Australia — 2026 World Cup

We recently went on a trip with Wofdi as part of a tour dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, which took us to Vancouver and Seattle, and the entire experience was simply amazing from start to finish. The trip was organized to the highest standard, and the travel between Vancouver and Seattle went off without a hitch. Everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to focus on enjoying the games and the incredible atmosphere without worrying about logistics. I’d especially like to highlight the additional tours offered on the days between games. These tours were fantastic: they gave us the opportunity to get to know both cities better and make the most of our time away from the stadiums. Each tour was professionally organized, carefully planned, and exceeded all our expectations. The Wofdi team was always available, well-informed, and ready to help throughout the entire trip. Their attention to detail and excellent organization made this trip carefree and enjoyable. If you’re considering a sports travel package for a major event, I highly recommend Wofdi. They gave us an unforgettable World Cup experience that exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again.

Scotland — 2026 World Cup

I booked a trip with Wofdi to tour Scotland throughout the group stage. The itinerary looked fantastic, but the reality was simply incredible!!!! A once-in-a-lifetime trip that became something truly special thanks to this company’s amazing staff. They really take care of everything and do everything they can to ensure their guests have an unforgettable time. They more than exceeded all expectations. It was worth every penny. We had two weeks full of fun, adventure, and laughter with a great group of people. I highly recommend this company to everyone. I’ll definitely travel with them again in the future. Many thanks to Varya, Mike, Billy, Veronica, and the entire team for this fantastic trip.

Australia — Champions League Final 2026

This was our second time in Budapest. We picked the Champions League Final to mark 40 years together. The match was brilliant — proper seats and a real atmosphere. The rest just took care of itself, which is exactly what you want on a trip like this. Glad we did it with them.

Mexico — Champions League Final 2025

What an incredible 2025 Champions League final! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quite central! The area was very welcoming! The post-game party was great—there was good German food and plenty of beer; everything was delicious and plentiful!! Our Category 1 tickets were in a great spot for the game. We’ll definitely be back for more events like this. Thank you very much, best regards.

Australia - Paris Summer Games 2024

Third trip we've done with World of Discoveries now, and every time they somehow outdo the last one. My wife and I got upgraded to a suite at Le Meurice without even asking, just a surprise waiting for us at check-in, she nearly fell over. The seats and tickets they got us were honestly some of the best we've had at any event, no idea how they pull it off but they do. Every transfer to the events was a private car too, proper comfortable, no standing around waiting on anyone. Can't thank the team enough, already looking forward to whatever they book for us next.

USA - Paris Summer Games 2024

My wife and I would like to thank the entire team for an amazing Olympic experience in Paris. Everything was perfectly organized — an excellent hotel and breakfast, punctual transfers, and great support throughout the trip. We could simply enjoy Paris, the incredible Olympic atmosphere, and, of course, the Opening Ceremony. Thank you for taking such great care of us. We truly appreciate it and hope to travel with you again soon!

USA - Paris Summer Games 2024

Been using World of Discoveries for years now, and Paris for the Games was no exception — spot on from start to finish. Booking was easy, communication was clear the whole way through, and every detail was handled: hotel, transfers, event tickets, all of it. Varya and the team were quick to answer whenever we had a question, and nothing felt disorganised or last minute. Whatever the destination, they consistently deliver. Already looking forward to what they'll put together for LA 2028.

USA - Winter Games 2026

This group is absolutely fantastic! They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional, patient with us. We built a 10 day itinerary from Florida to go to the Olympic Games, and they took care of lodging, milz, transportation, event tickets, and answered any questions we had regarding our itinerary“real time”— Not only would I recommend them again I would use them! The staff was very organized and professional. I only wish this group did not only focus on sporting events! So because of this incredible and once in a lifetime experience, I give this company a five star review and highly recommend!

Australia - 2024 Euro

World of Discoveries organised my whole trip to Euro 24. From opening game in Munich to final in Berlin. The whole team are very personable and can not thank them enough. I watched 8 games all over Germany and everything was organised for me including tickets and tours. Hotel selection was great and I had an amazing time. I highly recommend them and will be going to World cup with them in 2026

Australia - Eurocup 2024

Eurocup 2024 Germany - Finals & Semi-finals Excellent trip for our family of four (with two young boys - 12 and 14) to watch the two semifinals and finals of Eurocup 2024 in Munich, Dortmund, Cologne, and Berlin. WofDi organized the entire trip and provided white glove service from the minute we landed in and left from Germany. We were chaperoned throughout the trip by Mike, Varya, and their team, who took care of every detail. (Airport transfers, hotel stays, ICE train tickets, match tickets, unique curated city tours and events, daily WhatsApp communication) and were on-hand throughout to answer questions. We look forward to more sporting events and travel with WofDi.
