In one day, you visit two castles, have lunch at a monastery winery and see the valley from the water. Your guide stays with you from the morning pickup to the evening drop-off, and transport, castle entry, lunch, the wine tasting and the cruise are all included.

8:00 am Departure from your hotel in Düsseldorf
10:30 am Guided tour of Eltz Castle
12:45 pm Lunch and private wine tasting at the Kloster Ebernach winery
2:40 pm Reichsburg Castle, Cochem
4:00 pm Cruise on the Moselle
5:30 pm Return to Düsseldorf, arriving around 8:00 pm

Eltz Castle
Eltz Castle
Eltz Castle sits on a rock in a wooded side valley of the Moselle, and the same family has owned it for more than 800 years. Because it was never destroyed, its towers, halls and furnishings have survived largely intact. A guided tour of about an hour and a half takes you through the family's living quarters, with original furniture, paintings, weapons and armour.
Kloster Ebernach Winery
Kloster Ebernach Winery
The Ebernach monastery winery sits on the Moselle just outside Cochem, with a history that goes back to 1673. Lunch is served on the estate, overlooking the river and the vineyards, followed by a private tasting of its wines, including Riesling, the Moselle's best-known grape.
Reichsburg Castle, Cochem
Reichsburg Castle, Cochem
Reichsburg Castle stands on a hill above Cochem. French troops destroyed it in 1689, and it was rebuilt in the 19th century in the Gothic Revival style you see today. A short climb brings you to the castle for a visit and a view over the Moselle, the rooftops of Cochem and the vineyards around it.
Moselle River Cruise
Moselle River Cruise
The day ends on the river. An hour-long cruise from Cochem passes vineyards, riverside villages and Reichsburg Castle, which you saw from above earlier in the afternoon. Then you head back to Düsseldorf, arriving around 8 pm, with a free day ahead before Canada plays Slovakia.

Australia — 2026 World Cup

We recently went on a trip with Wofdi as part of a tour dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, which took us to Vancouver and Seattle, and the entire experience was simply amazing from start to finish. The trip was organized to the highest standard, and the travel between Vancouver and Seattle went off without a hitch. Everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to focus on enjoying the games and the incredible atmosphere without worrying about logistics. I’d especially like to highlight the additional tours offered on the days between games. These tours were fantastic: they gave us the opportunity to get to know both cities better and make the most of our time away from the stadiums. Each tour was professionally organized, carefully planned, and exceeded all our expectations. The Wofdi team was always available, well-informed, and ready to help throughout the entire trip. Their attention to detail and excellent organization made this trip carefree and enjoyable. If you’re considering a sports travel package for a major event, I highly recommend Wofdi. They gave us an unforgettable World Cup experience that exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again.

Scotland — 2026 World Cup

I booked a trip with Wofdi to tour Scotland throughout the group stage. The itinerary looked fantastic, but the reality was simply incredible!!!! A once-in-a-lifetime trip that became something truly special thanks to this company’s amazing staff. They really take care of everything and do everything they can to ensure their guests have an unforgettable time. They more than exceeded all expectations. It was worth every penny. We had two weeks full of fun, adventure, and laughter with a great group of people. I highly recommend this company to everyone. I’ll definitely travel with them again in the future. Many thanks to Varya, Mike, Billy, Veronica, and the entire team for this fantastic trip.

Australia — Champions League Final 2026

This was our second time in Budapest. We picked the Champions League Final to mark 40 years together. The match was brilliant — proper seats and a real atmosphere. The rest just took care of itself, which is exactly what you want on a trip like this. Glad we did it with them.

Mexico — Champions League Final 2025

What an incredible 2025 Champions League final! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quite central! The area was very welcoming! The post-game party was great—there was good German food and plenty of beer; everything was delicious and plentiful!! Our Category 1 tickets were in a great spot for the game. We’ll definitely be back for more events like this. Thank you very much, best regards.

Australia - Paris Summer Games 2024

Third trip we've done with World of Discoveries now, and every time they somehow outdo the last one. My wife and I got upgraded to a suite at Le Meurice without even asking, just a surprise waiting for us at check-in, she nearly fell over. The seats and tickets they got us were honestly some of the best we've had at any event, no idea how they pull it off but they do. Every transfer to the events was a private car too, proper comfortable, no standing around waiting on anyone. Can't thank the team enough, already looking forward to whatever they book for us next.

USA - Paris Summer Games 2024

My wife and I would like to thank the entire team for an amazing Olympic experience in Paris. Everything was perfectly organized — an excellent hotel and breakfast, punctual transfers, and great support throughout the trip. We could simply enjoy Paris, the incredible Olympic atmosphere, and, of course, the Opening Ceremony. Thank you for taking such great care of us. We truly appreciate it and hope to travel with you again soon!

USA - Paris Summer Games 2024

Been using World of Discoveries for years now, and Paris for the Games was no exception — spot on from start to finish. Booking was easy, communication was clear the whole way through, and every detail was handled: hotel, transfers, event tickets, all of it. Varya and the team were quick to answer whenever we had a question, and nothing felt disorganised or last minute. Whatever the destination, they consistently deliver. Already looking forward to what they'll put together for LA 2028.

USA - Winter Games 2026

This group is absolutely fantastic! They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional, patient with us. We built a 10 day itinerary from Florida to go to the Olympic Games, and they took care of lodging, milz, transportation, event tickets, and answered any questions we had regarding our itinerary“real time”— Not only would I recommend them again I would use them! The staff was very organized and professional. I only wish this group did not only focus on sporting events! So because of this incredible and once in a lifetime experience, I give this company a five star review and highly recommend!

Australia - 2024 Euro

World of Discoveries organised my whole trip to Euro 24. From opening game in Munich to final in Berlin. The whole team are very personable and can not thank them enough. I watched 8 games all over Germany and everything was organised for me including tickets and tours. Hotel selection was great and I had an amazing time. I highly recommend them and will be going to World cup with them in 2026

Australia - Eurocup 2024

Eurocup 2024 Germany - Finals & Semi-finals Excellent trip for our family of four (with two young boys - 12 and 14) to watch the two semifinals and finals of Eurocup 2024 in Munich, Dortmund, Cologne, and Berlin. WofDi organized the entire trip and provided white glove service from the minute we landed in and left from Germany. We were chaperoned throughout the trip by Mike, Varya, and their team, who took care of every detail. (Airport transfers, hotel stays, ICE train tickets, match tickets, unique curated city tours and events, daily WhatsApp communication) and were on-hand throughout to answer questions. We look forward to more sporting events and travel with WofDi.
