You finish the call with a clear plan and your place on the pre-booking list.
2030 World Cup travel: your questions answered
When and where is the 2030 World Cup?
The 2030 World Cup runs from June 8 to July 21, 2030, in six countries on three continents. Spain, Portugal and Morocco host almost every match. Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay each host one centenary match on June 8–9, marking 100 years since the first World Cup in Montevideo in 1930. The Final is on Sunday, July 21, 2030.
Where will the 2030 World Cup Final be played?
The Final is on Sunday, July 21, 2030, and the venue has not been announced yet. The Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, the Camp Nou in Barcelona and the new Grand Stade Hassan II near Casablanca are the three contenders. World of Discoveries builds its Final packages around the stadium as soon as it is confirmed.
Can I book a 2030 World Cup package now?
Yes, as a pre-booking. World of Discoveries releases packages and prices once the match schedule and host cities are confirmed. Pre-booking now puts you first in line for lodging allocations, and your travel planner starts shaping the trip around your team and the matches you want to see.
Are match tickets included in the packages?
Tickets for the 2030 World Cup are tightly controlled and sold through an official process, so we don't sell or guarantee tickets directly. Your ticket concierge arranges your entry to every match in your package and guides you through each step, so you don't have to deal with the process on your own.
Is it safe to travel to Morocco and South America for the 2030 World Cup?
Yes, with sensible planning. Morocco, Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay welcome millions of visitors every year, and Morocco staged Africa's continental championship in 2025–26 in several of its 2030 stadiums. With World of Discoveries you are never on your own: we choose lodging in central, well-reviewed districts, every airport transfer is private, match-day transfers are arranged, and your tour leader briefs you on arrival about local customs, getting around and the best areas to enjoy in the evening. Our support line answers in English and Spanish, 24/7, by phone or WhatsApp.
When will I know which cities my team plays in?
Teams are placed into groups at the final tournament draw, and the match schedule assigns each group to its stadiums. Once your team is drawn, we confirm your cities and plan the travel between them. Pre-booking now secures your place before demand rises.
Can I combine the centenary match in South America with matches in Europe or Africa?
Yes. The centenary matches are on June 8–9 and the main tournament opens in Spain, Portugal and Morocco on June 13–14, which leaves time to cross the Atlantic between them. Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay play their second group matches in Spain, Portugal or Morocco on June 21–22. Your travel planner arranges the connection by the most convenient route.
What is the weather like during the 2030 World Cup?
Spain and Portugal are in high summer: Madrid and Seville often pass 35°C (95°F), while Bilbao, San Sebastián, Lisbon and Porto are milder. Morocco's coast (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir) is usually 24–28°C (75–82°F), but Marrakesh and Fez can reach 38°C (100°F). South America is in winter: expect 8–15°C (46–59°F) in Montevideo and Buenos Aires in early June. Pack light layers, sun protection and a warm jacket if you go to the centenary matches.
Do I need a visa or travel authorisation?
Spain and Portugal are in the Schengen Area, and visitors from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and many other countries are expected to need the EU's ETIAS travel authorisation by 2030. Morocco, Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay each have their own entry rules, and many nationalities can visit for short stays without a visa. Your travel planner confirms what applies to your passport in every country on your itinerary.
What currency is used, and what plugs do I need?
Spain and Portugal use the euro, Morocco the dirham (MAD), Uruguay and Argentina their own pesos, and Paraguay the guaraní. Cards are widely accepted, but carry some cash for markets and medinas in Morocco. Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Uruguay and Paraguay mainly use European two-pin plugs (Type C/F) at 220–230V, and Argentina uses Type I, so US, Canadian, UK, Mexican and Australian devices need an adapter.
Can I travel solo?
Yes. Many of our travellers come on their own. You can book a single room, or we can match you with another solo traveller to share a room and lower the cost.
Your 2030 World Cup starts with one conversation
Tell us your team and the matches you can't miss. We plan the rest, from the airport to the final whistle, wherever the tournament takes you.

Australia — 2026 World Cup

We recently went on a trip with Wofdi as part of a tour dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, which took us to Vancouver and Seattle, and the entire experience was simply amazing from start to finish. The trip was organized to the highest standard, and the travel between Vancouver and Seattle went off without a hitch. Everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to focus on enjoying the games and the incredible atmosphere without worrying about logistics. I’d especially like to highlight the additional tours offered on the days between games. These tours were fantastic: they gave us the opportunity to get to know both cities better and make the most of our time away from the stadiums. Each tour was professionally organized, carefully planned, and exceeded all our expectations. The Wofdi team was always available, well-informed, and ready to help throughout the entire trip. Their attention to detail and excellent organization made this trip carefree and enjoyable. If you’re considering a sports travel package for a major event, I highly recommend Wofdi. They gave us an unforgettable World Cup experience that exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again.

Scotland — 2026 World Cup

I booked a trip with Wofdi to tour Scotland throughout the group stage. The itinerary looked fantastic, but the reality was simply incredible!!!! A once-in-a-lifetime trip that became something truly special thanks to this company’s amazing staff. They really take care of everything and do everything they can to ensure their guests have an unforgettable time. They more than exceeded all expectations. It was worth every penny. We had two weeks full of fun, adventure, and laughter with a great group of people. I highly recommend this company to everyone. I’ll definitely travel with them again in the future. Many thanks to Varya, Mike, Billy, Veronica, and the entire team for this fantastic trip.

Argentina - World Cup 2026

As someone who has followed the Argentina national team my whole life, attending the 2026 FIFA World Cup felt like a dream. Thanks to World of Discoveries and Varya's incredible team, it became the most unforgettable week of my life. Every detail was perfectly organised — accommodation, tickets, group activities — everything. What amazed me most was how quickly they turned strangers from all over the world into one big football-loving family. I made friendships that will last forever. And watching Argentina lift that trophy live… I still get chills. Varya, you gave us pure magic. I would recommend this to every football fan on the planet without hesitation — 10 out of 10, not enough stars in the world!

We arrived at Dubai not knowing what to do but through out the all time we were kept informed at all times the staff is great and go out of their way to make sure you are always ok. My only bad commits that I have had to go back home and cannot stay here.
