International Football Tournament 2024 Can’t recommend WORLD OF DISCOVERIES highly enough. My daughter and I joined them in Munich before travelling to Cologne, then Berlin. From the moment we arrived in Munich, it was the full 5-star experience. They took care of every aspect of the trip — from transport to tours and activities. A football tour with so much more. I have just completed a great tour with World of Discoveries in Germany and Austria. The main aim of the trip was for my husband to watch Scotland play in a major international football tournament. However, this trip was about so much more than just the football. Of course, the WOFDI team organized great hotels and tickets for Bill to join the crazy Tartan Army and watch its team in Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart. But the highlights for me were visits to mad King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria; the James Bond Elements museum, perched 3000m high up in the Austrian Alps; a stay at the incredible Aqua Dome resort in the Austrian Tyrol; and a superb wine tasting evening with a great group of travelers at Schloss Lieser hotel on the Moselle River. What a trip, what an experience.

Great trip all round. I booked not knowing what I was going to get, a little sceptical and apprehensive due to never using these guys before. I could not have been more wrong — the service has been great and the tour has also been great. Mike the tour guide and the girls in the office are 5 star. I even had a disaster and left my passports in the hotel safe in one city, and Mike and the team could not do enough to help me get them back. Really appreciate your professionalism and kindness. World of Discoveries put an excellent tour together. All well organised with lots of side events all unplanned but the focus was on fun. Pity Australia can’t score goals but the party made up for it. Football Festival Extravaganza. What a trip … The international football tournament, five cities, amazing camaraderie, and great tour leadership against the background of one of the globe’s most amazing countries … Russia. My football tour with Discovery Russia was one of the great experiences of my travel life. The Discovery Russia team provided a wonderful platform with an itinerary both practical and flexible. The local tours in each of the host cities — Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Sochi and St Petersburg — were informative and, importantly, fun. Considering the accommodation pressures created by the huge influx of international football fans, the hotels selected by Discovery Russia were more than adequate. Special mention goes to the Grand Hotel Tchaikovsky in St Petersburg. The tour leadership provided by the company was both expert and considerate. Importantly, each traveller’s individual enjoyment and safety appeared to be the paramount consideration. This football holiday was meant to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for me, but I am now planning for the next international tournament. Bring on 2022 in Qatar!
