A football tour with so much more I have just completed a great tour with World of Discoveries in Germany and Austria. The main aim of the trip was for my husband to watch Scotland play in the Euros football championship. However, this trip was about so much more than just the football. Of course, the WOFDI team organized great hotels and tickets for Bill to join the crazy Tartan Army and watch its team in Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart. But, the highlights for me were visits to mad King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria; the James Bond Elements museum, perched 3000m high up in the Austrian Alps; a stay at the incredible Aqua Dome resort in the Austrian Tyrol; and a superb wine tasting evening with a great group of travelers at Schloss Lieser hotel on the Moselle River. What a trip, what an experience.

I recently toured Qatar during the World Cup with Varya and Mike’s team at World of Discoveries. The experience over three weeks was first class. Varya and her team nailed the detail for every aspect of the trip from planning and booking through to the actual travel, tours, sightseeing, transport, accommodation and ticketing to games. They were always accessible to deal with any issues that arose and went the extra mile to ensure the travelling group was happy, organised and safe. And they throw a mean party. World Cup experience (A+) It is great when companies do exactly what you paid for. Host Anna, was amazing at answering all questions and posting in the WhatsApp groups the timings and what to expect in each of the stages of the trip. Seats could have been a little better but we were told that it was a Fifa decision.

Highly Recommend Just back from Germany where World of Discoveries organized a fantastic custom trip for us to the Euro 2024 football (soccer) tournament, covering Frankfurt and Cologne. From start to finish, their communication was excellent, ensuring we were well-informed and prepared for our adventure. Our in-country host, Mike, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to keep everyone updated on game day, making sure everything ran smoothly. His knowledge and enthusiasm added a special touch to our experience. Seats obtained by them were great too! The hotel selections were spot on. In Cologne, our hotel was perfectly situated, allowing us to easily walk to the fan zone and along the river, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the tournament alongside fellow fans. The convenience and quality of the accommodations truly enhanced our trip. Overall, World of Discoveries exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail, customer service, and seamless organization. They made our Euro 2024 experience unforgettable, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with them again for future adventures. Thank you, World of Discoveries, for an incredible journey!

World of Discoveries went above and beyond on the World Cup tour, aside from the tour in Qatar they helped us and manage the logistics to get small 2-3 day tours to Egypt and Jordan in a marathon but memorable 16 days trip. We got to be in 2 of the 5 wonders of the world (Egyptian Pyramids & Petra; among other places) Everything they promised they delivered and always check on each and everyone on our group of 7. Helen from Spain did all the paper work and signed us up and the the land crew that greeted us in Doha were just perfect! Very well recommended and for the next World Cup and the Olympics they will be our go to people for the planning for a great experience such as Qatar 2022. Well done Wofdi!!
